What is evil? |
|
Evil is another word for bad or sinful. Evil is anything that goes against God's plan for your life. That is why God is displeased with sin. This includes a selfish attitude, bad or mean actions and ignoring God. Evil entered the world when Adam (first man God created) and Eve, Adam's wife (made from one of Adam's ribs) sinned in the Garden of Eden, (read Genesis chapter 3). Ever since then people have been born with a "sinful nature". So evil in the world comes from sinful humans doing what comes naturally. Satan is another source of sin. He is the enemy of God. Satan will do anything to destroy God's plan, of course He will fail!! Satan comes in scuttle ways as He did in Genesis. So that is why you must be sure that God is speaking to your heart. There is only one source of evil and that is Satan. |

The good news is that we can overcome evil by obeying God . Remember God is far greater than Satan!!! |
